About the region
The Chilterns & Home Counties Region represents golf clubs across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and North-West London.
We are a dynamic, forward-thinking community of golf club managers, industry professionals, and emerging leaders, all dedicated to shaping the future of golf club management.
Our region provides a collaborative platform for professional development, networking, and the sharing of best practices. Members benefit from:
- Education & Development – Expert-led workshops, regional business meetings, and national GCMA initiatives.
- Networking & Support – A strong peer network, including our active WhatsApp group, where members share advice, experiences, and support on any golf club management topic.

Regular regional meetings are hosted at member clubs, featuring presentations from industry experts. These events provide the chance to discuss current issues with colleagues, followed by a round of golf and often an evening meal, helping to build strong professional and social connections.
Membership
Once a GCMA member, you will automatically become part of our region if you live or work in the area. You will receive a fixture list of upcoming events, regular email updates, and invitations to join our WhatsApp community.
Our membership currently totals 115 managers, most of whom are serving General Managers of golf clubs across the region. Attendance at meetings also qualifies for CPD points, supporting those engaged in the GCMA’s professional development programme.
